At TalentDrain,
we are committed to protecting your privacy. You can
travel through most of our sites without giving us any
information about yourself. But sometimes we do need
information to provide services that you request, and
this statement of privacy explains data collection and
use in those situations. Please read the complete statement.
Collecting your personal information
In general, you can visit the TalentDrain web
site without telling us who you are and without revealing
any information about yourself. However there may be
occasions when you choose to give us personal information,
for example, for the purposes of receiving further information
from us. We will ask you when we need information that
personally identifies you or allows us to contact you.
The use of some resources on our web sites is restricted
to registered clients and requires either the completion
of an online registration process or the use of other
registration information.
Use of your personal information
We collect the personal data that you may volunteer
while using our services. We do not collect information
about our visitors from other sources, such as public
records or bodies, or private organisations. We do not
collect or use personal data for any purpose other than
that indicated below:
- For customer administration
- For technical administration of our web sites
- To send you marketing information when you request
it.
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose,
we offer you the means to consent to this new purpose
by indicating in a box at the point on the site where
personal data is collected.
Control of your personal information
When you register, or otherwise give us personal
information, TalentDrain will not share that information
with third parties without your permission, other than
for the limited exceptions listed below.
TalentDrain will disclose your personal information,
without notice, only if required to do so by law or
in the good faith belief that such action is necessary
to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with
legal process served on TalentDrain or its web sites; (b) protect
and defend the rights or property of TalentDrain and its web
sites, and, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect
the personal safety of users of TalentDrain, its web sites,
or the public.
Security of your personal
information
We intend to protect the quality and integrity
of your personally identifiable information and we have
implemented appropriate technical and organisational
measures to do so. TalentDrain operates its own Internet
Data Centre that is designed to keep mission critical
HR services and data online and secure at all times.
We have implemented security policies, rules and technical
measures to protect the personal data that we have under
our control from:
- Unauthorised access
- Improper use or disclosure
- Unauthorised modification
- Unlawful destruction or accidental loss
All our employees and data processors, who have access
to, and are associated with the processing of personal
data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of
our visitors' personal data.
We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed
to State institutions and authorities except if required
by law or other regulation.
Access to personal information we
hold about you
You can ask us whether we are keeping personal data
about you. Requests may be by email at privacy@talentdrain.com.
Requests must include all information from the Subject
Access Request Form. The email request must be followed
up with written proof of identity (see below). Note:
The period of 40 days in which the organisation must
respond to the request will not commence until written
proof of identity has been received.
Requests can not be made by telephone or any other
means.
Proof of Identity
TalentDrain will require proof of identity
before releasing personal data. This may be provided
in the following forms:
- A paper copy of a bank statement, utility bill or
other company letter sent to you, or;
- A paper copy of your driving license, passport or
benefits book.
- Proof of identity should be signed and dated by
you and sent to the address above with a stamped addressed
envelope for return of proof.
What we will send you
You will be sent a paper notification of:
- Whether TalentDrain processing personal data about
you.
- A description of the data and the purposes of processing
the data. (TalentDrain does not disclose personal
data to 3rd parties so this information will not be
included).
- An explanation of any codes or abbreviations used
so as to make the notification intelligible.
- If we can, information as to the sources of the
data.
- You may request that the above information is sent
to you electronically by Email
Fees
We reserve the right to charge an administration fee for providing this information.
Period for Responding
Your request will be dealt with:
- Within forty days of receipt of the request; or
if later
- Within forty days of receiving the fee and the information
needed to verify your identity and locate the information
that you seek
Your right to challenge
You have the right to challenge the data that
we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have
the data:
- Erased
- Rectified or amended
- Completed
Use of cookies and automatic
data collection
To ensure that we deliver content suitable for
the type of browser being used to access our web sites,
we store your browser type and version (e.g. Explorer
6.0, Netscape 7) in a cookie on your machine. This eliminates
the need for each individual page delivered to determine
this information.
We do not automatically log personal data nor do we
link information automatically logged by other means
with personal data about specific individuals. We do
not use cookies to store personal data nor do we link
non-personal information stored in cookies with personal
data about specific individuals.
Log files
Like most web site providers, we analyse server
log files to collect statistical information about how
our web sites are used. This type of information is
collected only at an aggregate level and includes browser
types, Internet service providers, referring / exit
pages, platform types, date/time stamps and other broad
demographic data. Such data is not linked to personally
identifiable information.
The services and links of our
web sites
Our web sites do not enable our visitors to communicate
with other visitors or to post information to be accessed
by others. Additionally, our web sites do not include
links to third party web service providers.
Privacy compliance
Our privacy policy and compliance with that policy
are maintained through a voluntary self assessment procedure.
Changes to this statement
TalentDrain will occasionally update this privacy
statement.
